We are now 50 members strong!!!
On Sunday November 3rd we hosted our monthly group orientation and potluck at Cornell Cooperative Extension (continued thank yous to CCE for their generosity and ongoing community support). We had one of our biggest turn-outs for the orientation and even more for the potluck.
Here are some photos of the potluck. It was hard to get many photos with the delicious food everyone brought.
Remember, all members are invited to the potluck. This is a wonderful way to get to know other members and to begin making connections for future time trades.
Here’s some of the offers that folks mentioned:
- -life coaching
- -piano lesssons (for children of all ages, i.e. adults too!)
- -Japanese lessons
- -Japanese cooking lessons
And here are some requests (many of which are already being offered in T3):
- -baby sitting
- -old house repairs (carpentry, painting, electrical)
- -hair cuts
- -storage space
With 50 members T3 is really getting somewhere. We’re no longer just a different idea that a handful of people are interested in. T3 wants to make people’s lives better, to help people do what they need to do without money and to value all that people have to offer. Thank you to all of the members who have joined and to all of the people whose applications are pending. You’ve taken the first step – now the fun begins and you can trade time for goods and services!
