We Celebrate Earth Day

Hold onto your hats! Earth Day is coming! This year will be the 45th celebration of Earth Day! It’s going to be epic!

This Sunday, April 19 is the celebration of “Earth Day: Voices Past, Voices Present,” with festivities starting at 12 noon, at The Space@GreenStar, in Ithaca. So, get out there and celebrate. Tompkins Time Traders will be at the Earth Day celebration at The Space@GreenStar. Tompkins Time Traders will have an information table at this event. So be sure to stop by and say hello. And please do your very best to funnel other Earth Day participants to our table. We love, love, love, love visitors to our table!

Also, Tompkins Time Traders member Eric Banford and EcoArise will be at this celebration, playing original acoustic eco-focused music. This is a great way to support a fellow Tompkins Time Traders member–and listen to some great music. Make note that his music is not to be missed!

P.S. Do you know who founded Earth Day, way back in 1970? Answer: Gaylord Nelson, then a U.S. Senator from Wisconsin.
